The Filibuster is committed to making both our website and our room welcoming and usable for everyone, including guests with disabilities. This statement explains what we have done, what we are still working on, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project. We review the site as we make changes and correct problems as we find them.

What we have done on this site

We use text that meets contrast guidance against our dark backgrounds, we keep headings in a logical order so screen readers can navigate the page, and we write descriptive alternative text for meaningful images. All of our links and buttons are reachable and operable with a keyboard, and visible focus states show where you are on the page. Our decorative background animation is purely decorative, is hidden from assistive technology, and is switched off automatically for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.

Known limitations

Some parts of this site rely on third-party services we do not control, including our reservation platform (Resy) and our email sign-up (Constant Contact). We cannot guarantee the accessibility of those services, but we are happy to help you complete a reservation or join our list by phone instead. Photographs used as full-width backgrounds are decorative and are not described in detail.

Our main entrance is on Adams Street, next to Hayward House. If you have questions about entry, seating, restrooms, service animals, or anything else that would help you plan your visit, please call us at 850.320.6585 before you come and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If any part of this website is a barrier to you, you do not need to use the website to reach us. Call 850.320.6585 during business hours, email filibusterclubtally@gmail.com, or ask a member of our staff in person, and we will provide the information or complete the request for you.
